Fluid contamination is the root cause of most hydraulic system failures. Controlling airborne contamination is critical. The synergy of our fluid filter elements and our dessicant breathers yields fluid clarification and a healthy hydraulic system.

Whether it's for high ambiant humidity applications or for mobile and heavy duty applications, with our available adaptors (some with a metal reinforced base), Fisco Inc. breathers can be installed on virtually any existing reservoir.

Few specifications:

  • 2 microns solid contaminant filtration efficiency.
  • Air flow rate from 35 CFM up to 250 CFM.
  • Connections from 1/2" to 1 1/2" NPT, UNF or Flange.
  • Impervious to alkalis, mineral oils, non-oxidizing acids, salt water, hydrocarbons and synthetic oils.
  • When maximum absorption is reached, the dessicant will turn Gold to Green as an indicator to replace it.
  • Operating temperature from -20°F (-28°C) to 200°F (93°C).

Few features, benefits and advantages:

  • Eliminate water contamination from reservoir ingression.
  • Minimize rust and acid corrosion.
  • Reduce component wear.
  • Reduce maintenance cost.
  • Reduce oil oxydation.
  • Prolong fluid life.
  • Enhance lubricity of fluids.
  • Bi-directional air flow: Air inhaled is cleaned and dried, and oil is removed from exhausted air.
  • Clean exhaust: As air is exhausted from the tank, activated carbon removes oil vapor, fumes and odors.
  • Chemically inert: The Gold sillica gel is non toxic, non-deliquescent and non-corrosive.
  • Disposable: Materials meet U.S Pharmacopoeia XXI Class VI toxicity requirements.
